There’s only 5 spot left. Join 19 others at efora’s experience this Saturday.

Sri Lanka, once famed as the “Granary of the East”, has a rich agricultural history and for centuries, paddy cultivation was a way of life that shaped our society, culture, religion and economy.

The primary form of agriculture in Sri Lanka is rice production. Rice – the staple food of the island nation – is cultivated during the Yala (April-July) and Maha (November-February) seasons and to date, Sri Lankans follow traditional rituals centered around the preparation of the fields and the harvesting of the grains. Immerse yourself in an authentic Sri Lankan farming experience as the locals prepare the lands, sow the rice and harvest the paddy with utmost reverence and dedication.
